Assistant Teaching Professor, Nursing Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
The Department of Biological Sciences at Michigan Technological University is seeking applications for an assistant/associate teaching professor. Primary consideration will be for applicants at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor, although applicants with the experience and accomplishments commensurate with a higher rank may be considered for an appointment at the rank of Associate Teaching Professor. Instructional-track faculty in Nursing are primarily responsible for the teaching and supervision of nursing students in the classroom, lab, and clinical settings. Primary teaching responsibilities will include the development and delivery of courses in the areas of Maternal-Child Nursing. Other teaching responsibilities will consist of Nursing Fundamentals, and Medical-Surgical Nursing or may be assigned based on need and as appropriate.

This position will coordinate efforts which may include other collaborating agencies and institutions. Provides comprehensive research development support (including pre-and post-award proposal development and management) to faculty members and administrative assistance to center and department leadership. Coordinates on-campus and external outreach to help foster research growth.

THERC will be part of Michigan Tech’s Health Research Institute (HRI), which is comprised of 59 members from 14 academic departments across campus. We are a thriving, cooperative research community that sponsors activities to improve community health, graduate fellowship programs, a faculty mentoring program, and several social and networking events throughout the academic year. HRI is seeking a Senior Scientist or Engineer to join our interdisciplinary organization. We look forward to welcoming an exceptional researcher who is willing to build new collaborations, drive innovation, and lead an externally funded research program. Affiliation with academic departments is available to qualified candidates. Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach Main Campus (Houghton, MI)
Oversee the direction of the Men’s and Women’s Varsity Tennis programs at the NCAA Division II level. Responsible for recruitment, scheduling, practice/event preparation, budget management, fundraising and promotion.
