Required Experience • A sustained record of research and scholarship in a field that is relevant to electrical and computer engineering is required. Desirable Education and/or Experience • Experience teaching courses in electrical engineering, computer engineering, robotic engineering• Demonstrated experience on US federal research grants• Mentoring undergraduate and/or graduate students Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities • Ability to teach all levels of undergraduate courses as well as graduate courses and advanced offerings in their particular areas of interest and expertise.• Knowledge and background to teach effectively at the graduate and undergraduate level courses in electrical and computer engineering.• Record of excellence in scholarly activities Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities • Successful development of competitive externally funded grants• Ability to communicate effectively with students, professional colleagues and the general public• Demonstrated success in, or potential future contributions to, working with persons from diverse backgrounds, creating a sense of belonging, and fostering a fair, objective, welcoming place to work for persons with a wide variety of personal characteristics and viewpoints.
